Amore: Let the games begin!
Three ways to play, three ways to win and three ways to support the Triad's premier choral ensemble!
This year's event features THREE different games, the proceeds from which support Bel Canto Company and our mission of presenting exceptional, innovative and engaging choral performances for diverse audiences. The more Bel Canto fans who play, the more fun we'll have and the more successful the auctions will be, so come early and play often!
Chance Auction - Sometimes referred to as a "Penny Auction" or "Chinese Auction", participants "bid" by placing one or more tickets in the basket in front of an item up for auction. The more tickets you bid, the better your odds of winning! And, there is no limit to the number of items on which you may bid. There will be over fifteen different prizes, including a "Love Me Tender" package from the Proximity Hotel which includes accomodations and gift certificate to Print Works Bistro; a silver, teardrop necklace from Karat Gold Corner; event tickets; restaurant meals; gourmet foods and beverages; works of art and much more. During intermission a winning ticket will be randomly drawn from each basket.
Chance Auction tickets will be sold the evening of the event:
- 1 ticket for $1 OR
- 30 tickets for $25
Grand Prize Auction - The rules are the same as for the chance auction, but the stakes are higher. Grand Prize Auction Items include: a Great Performances Package (at least 5 pairs of tickets to fine arts events as well as gift certificates to local fine dining establishments); Alden Parkes furniture; artwork by William Mangum; other designer furnishings and fine art, each valued at more than $300.
Grand Prize Auction tickets:
- 1 ticket for $5 OR
- 6 tickets for $25
Silent Auction - Write down your bid and check back often - bid as often as you like - the auction opens at 6 PM and the highest bid at the start of the concert wins!
One week at Sunset Beach, NC - Enjoy North Carolina's most popular family beach and stay at Sea'scape, a 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with a marvelous view of the sea. Stroll across the street and you're on the beach!
A weekend at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC -
