Amore 2016 is just over a week away! Every year this event seems to evolve, becoming bigger, better and more entertaining. We are very excited about some new aspects to this year’s event!
Pre-Bidding for the Silent Auction
This year you can start bidding early for most of the 80 great auction prizes at Amore! We will have a pre-bidding period from 12pm, Friday, Feb. 5 until 12pm, Friday, Feb. 12. After pre-bidding closes, the top bids at that time will be transferred to the silent auction bid sheets used for Saturday’s event. At the end of the auction Saturday night, the highest bid, whether a pre-bid or a bid placed at the event, wins!
Not able to attend Amore this year, but want to get in on the auction? No problem! You can still register to bid through our online catalog. If no one outbids you Saturday night, you’ll be declared the winner when the auction closes. We’ll get in touch to arrange for payment and pickup of your item(s).
Whether you are attending Amore or not, the process for early bidding is the same:

- Register as a bidder for the auction. (Or, if you have participated in other auctions via Charity Auction Organizer, sign in using your email address and password.)
- Browse the catalog and bid on the items you want to win!
New 50/50 Raffle
In addition to our traditional raffle, for which we have 30 great prizes this year (tickets are $5 each or 10 for $30), we will also have a new 50/50 raffle. Tickets for this raffle are $10 each. After dinner we’ll draw one lucky ticket, and the winner will win 50% of the gross proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle, with the remaining 50% going to Bel Canto.
The more people who buy a ticket, the bigger your potential winnings!
Song Dedications
Buy a song dedication to be read by Dr. Young during the cabaret. Show that special someone how much you care…a great and unique Valentine’s Day gift!
We will have a song list on stage during the auction. Be the first person to sign-up for a song using your auction bidder number (it will be on your program), write down your message, and the song is yours! The dedication will be added to your auction invoice, payable at the end of the night. ($50 per dedication)
Centerpieces for Sale
This year, The Fresh Market has generously donated the centerpieces for the dinner tables. We don’t want these beautiful flowers to go to waste…We want you to take them home!
Information will be on each table about where and how to pay for your flowers. We’ll even have handy flower bags for you so you won’t drip water all the way to your car!
