Lauren Johnson, an NC native, holds B.A. degrees in Sacred Music and Vocal Performance from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She graduated from CCC&TI with a Speech Language Pathology Assistant A.A.S., and she works as an SLP-A for Randolph County Schools. Lauren studied voice with Dr. Judith Burbank during her time at LR, and had participated in and led various church and children’s choirs throughout her career. When she is not singing, Lauren enjoys reading, scoping out new coffee shops, and spending time with her family and friends. She is very excited for her second season with Bel Canto!
